Privacy Policy

How NJ Water Quality collects, uses, and shares information.

What we collect

We collect information you voluntarily submit through our contact form, including your name, email, phone number, county, municipality, property or facility type, water source, and your message. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, call tracking, session recording, heat maps, fingerprinting, or third-party form analytics.

What we use it for

We use submitted information to respond to your question and, where applicable, to refer your request to Newlin Water (home, private-well, and PWTA requests) or Newlin Water (school, child-care, and facility requests). We only collect what's needed to route your request — we do not request Social Security numbers, full financial information, medical histories, or unnecessary transaction documents.

How we share it

If your request is referred to Newlin Water or Newlin Water, we share the information needed for that provider to follow up with you. This referral relationship is disclosed before you submit a request. We do not sell your information.

Data retention

We retain form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your request and, where applicable, to support an active referral. We do not publish uploaded test reports or laboratory results, and we redact addresses and account numbers in any internal examples we may reference.

Analytics we do use

We use Google Search Console for indexing, query, click, and Core Web Vitals reporting, and standard server error logs for technical troubleshooting. Neither collects personally identifying behavioral data about individual visitors.
